When you call for car towing in Lahore, you'll usually get one of two vehicles: a flatbed recovery van or a wheel-lift car lifter. Choosing the right one protects your car.
Wheel-lift (car lifter)
A lifter raises either the front or rear wheels and tows the car on its other two wheels.
- Good for: manual hatchbacks and sedans, short city trips
- Pros: fast, fits tight streets, usually cheaper
- Cons: not suitable for most automatics, 4x4s or damaged cars
Flatbed
The whole car is winched onto a flat bed and strapped down. No wheels touch the road.
- Good for: automatic, CVT, hybrid, electric, 4x4/AWD, luxury, low and accident-damaged cars, long distances
- Pros: safest option, no wear on the car
- Cons: bigger vehicle, may cost a little more
Quick rule
